When researching new venues for the Barcelona city guide, this place kept popping up. It was added to the top of the list and was first up for review. We landed at Barcelona, checked into the hotel and after a quick turn around found ourselves arriving a little after half ten, the place was packed. We ordered a cocktail and sat at the bar, it wasn't long before we had ourselves our table.
The menu is designed for sharing, although there are a selection of main dishes on offer - we choose to share. Croquettes, meat balls, prawns & asparagus on sticks, Octopus, it was all delicious - but the stand out dish was the steak, which literally melted in your mouth. Service comes with a smile and is the right side fo attentive, dishes arrive at regular intervals and the busy crowed gives a backdrop of good atmosphere. This is a slick operation run by a great front of house called Donald.
