BEACHOUSE joined the Ibiza scene in 2015 opening on the beach at Playa d’en Bossa. It set itself apart from other beach clubs both in the menu it serves and in the laid back atmosphere that makes it far less high maintenance than the likes of Blue Marlin.
Rustic and authentic Italian style cuisine makes a lovely change from the Asian offering that feels like its being done to death at the moment.
We went with a group of four. The men in the group went for the BEACHOUSE burger (one opting to have it served with spelt bread), it came with the added topping of pesto, in addition to the more traditional Cheddar cheese, tomato, rocket, red onion and pickle. It was a hit both in portion size and taste. It also came with the added bonus of some first class chips which were eagerly shared (not necessarily by choice).
I convinced the remaining girl in our group to share the Lobster linguine - (as the minimum requirement is for two) and she spend the rest of the evening thanking me for it. It absolutely didn't disappoint, a whole lobster out of the shell served in a delicate tomato sauce with a dash of fresh chilli. It was as light as could be, bursting with flavour and it left us both with a happy smile, which could have well have been aided by several bottles of vino collapso.
The interior together with its thatched roof makes it feels like a real beach location, less glamourous than some of its counterparts but it has an effortless cool vibe that is aided by the chilled music. The best time to go is on a Sunday when a roster of great DJ's pitch up and take over the decks.
Without doubt one of the best beach clubs on the White Isle.
